THE ROBBERY CHAPTER 3
Jerry woke up with a pain in his neck. Grumbling, he rolled over onto the floor. Ouch! he thought. Jerry finally had the strength to pick himself up and slipped on his navy blue slippers. He scratched his ruffled hair and went over to the mirror. Jerry took his toothbrush and put on toothpaste the size of a pea. Brushing back and forth, he thought more about the suspects. It must be someone sneaky and small Jerry thought. Probably a few kids who did some prank he thought somemore as he rinsed off his toothbrush. He slipped on some clothes and his favorite trench coat. He walked out the door, scratching his chin. BARK BARK!! Jerry jumped. A cream maltese started barking at him. Must be a stray Jerry considered. He bent down to the dog to see if it had a tag. “none” Jerry said to himself. He patted the dog’s head and walked away.

Jerry scanned the room somemore. He heard leaves rustle in the distance. THUMP! What was that?? Jerry thought? He saw a huge oak door. Taking a deep breath, he walked with his un-shined shoes over to the door.his hand shaking, he touched the doorknob. Nothing. Jerry turned the knob, closing his eyes. A whirl of wind hit his face. He opened his eyes. It looked like a normal bedroom, with a messy bed and books falling out of the shelves. THUMP THUMP! Jerry jumped. Thats the same noise! he thought. Jerry walked over to the window. A huge branch from a tree was hitting the window, causing it to make the THUMP sound. Jerry sighed with relief. “Detective” a voice gruffed. Jerry spun around. The same officer stood there, holding the X file in his hand. “Its late” the officer said. “you can back here tomorrow if you want, to see somemore clues” Jerry shook his head from side to side. “no thank you, i wont be coming back” he said firmly. Jerry pushed the officer out of his way, and he ran out the spooky home. im never coming back there ever again Jerry thought to himself, crunching yellow-orange leaves in the crisp autumn air.
